For proper operation of the corrosion protection by electrochemical water treatment in water bearing systems such as heating systems or tab water systems, anodes made from high-purity magnesium alloy are required. elector magnesium anodes are characterized by an magnesium content of >99% which guarantees the ongoing electrochemical process even in waters with low conductivity. In addition, the purity of the elector magnesium anodes is the assurance that no undesirable ions get into the water by the electrochemical water treatment.

elector magnesium anodes meet the requirements according to DIN4753 T10 and are suitable for use in drinking water because of their physiological harmlessness.

elector provides standardized magnesium anodes as replacement anode for common devices with the purpose of electrochemical corrosion protection of heating systems, tab water systems and other water bearing systems.

Important Note: For best performance of corrosion protection by means of electrochemical water treatment only anodes should be used, which have a high electrochemical standard potential and which are characterized by the highest possible purity in magnesium. Standard sacrifical anodes, which are used for cathodic protection in buffer storages, are not suitable.
